Creality, a global leader in 3D printing, today announced a collaboration with Forward AM, a BASF brand, to provide professional-grade 3D printing solutions to the market. The MOU signing ceremony will take place on September 1 at 11 a.m., China Standard Time (CST), at Booth M60, TCT Asia.

Along with the ceremony, Creality will unveil Sermoon D3, the latest flagship in the fully-enclosed 3D printer lineup, as well as co-launch HP-ULTRA with Forward AM, a high-end filament series designed specifically for Creality 3D printers.

Creality and BASF Forward AM 3D Printing Solutions

The strategic alliance combines Creality’s expertise in 3D printing machinery with Forward AM’s industry-leading materials technology, resulting in a synergy that broadens the application scenarios for professional-grade 3D printers. It will provide professional and industrial clients with cost-effective 3D printing solutions, including machinery, materials, and software.

Dr. Chen Li, Head of Business Management and Operations, BASF 3D Printing Solutions Asia Pacific, and Fred Liu, Co-founder and Executive Director of Shenzhen Creality 3D Technology, will deliver speeches and sign the MOU at the event.

Sermoon D3, Creality’s latest effort to expand its footprint into the professional and industrial market, follows the release of CR-5 Pro. The Sermoon D series is designed for industrial design and provides high productivity in prototyping, jig and fixture fabrication, and design verification. Sermoon D3 will have industrial-grade stability and will enable users to control and monitor multiple 3D printers at the same time, effectively scaling up manufacturing production.

Creality and Forward AM collaborated to develop HP-ULTRA filaments in PLA and ABS. It is part of Creality’s “Better Filament Plan,” which involves collaborating with industry leaders to provide users with high-quality filaments designed specifically for Creality 3D printers.
