NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE DM60 BLACK LINE & SHOWCASING THE POWERSHOT PERFORMANCE LIVE FOR FIRST TIME
With the DM60 Black Line, DyeMansion announces a special limited edition of their proven DM60 combined with a DM60 Reservoir. It is modified and purpose-built to focus on the black colouring of grey Powder Bed Fusion parts such as HP MJF or Stratasys SAF. The new process offers a real automated alternative to pot dyeing. The DM60 Black Line will come with the standard DyeMansion ISO certifications such as cytotoxicity and skin irritation. Users can save 50% cost per part and up to 50% cycle time compared to the classical DM60.
Due to the possibility of reusing the process water for up to five dyeing cycles with the DM60 Reservoir, the consumption of fresh water and the amount of wastewater is considerably reduced. This bundle is orderable until March 31, 2022. DyeMansion is accepting orders starting from Nov 16. Parts can be seen at the DyeMansion booth 12.1, D21 at Formnext.
“The demand for colouring grey polyamide parts in black has significantly increased over the past years. The DM60 Black Line is our tailor-made solution to meet this demand in an industrial way with reduced cycle time and cost-per-part. Our customers can now dye their parts with this newly developed process in the proven Deep Black quality in a more efficient and faster way”, says Philipp Kramer, CTO & Co-Founder at DyeMansion.
Another highlight for Formnext visitors: The new Powershot DUAL Performance, announced in March this year, will be showcased physically for the first time. It’s a new next level blasting system purpose-built for the factory of the future and high- volume production with Additive Manufacturing. The shipment of series systems will begin in Q4 2022.

With a state-of-the-art IoT dashboard, using Siemens MindSphere, an Industrial IoT as a service solution, DyeMansion showcases that their systems are Industry 4.0 ready. The showcase together with Siemens demonstrates the integration of DyeMansion technologies with any MES/ERP and IIoT platform based on industry standard OPC UA architecture – one of the basic requirements for serial manufacturing. Formnext visitors can experience live machine-related data such as status, process information and sensor data at booth 12.1, D21.
ALPHACAM & CADIMENSIONS BECOME NEW DYEMANSION SALES PARTNERS
DyeMansion’s global partner platform keeps growing and remains the largest of its kind in the market with 67 partners worldwide today. Alphacam (DACH region) and CADimensions (North America region) become new authorised resellers and will offer the whole Print-to-Product platform. With the addition of these two, DyeMansion has gained very experienced and strong distribution partners to successfully bring the new Stratasys Powder Bed Fusion SAF technology together to the market with DyeMansion post-processing solutions.
“The partnership with DyeMansion is an important step for us to offer our customers the best possible technology. The DyeMansion Print-to-Product platform harmonizes perfectly with the SAF technology and thus allows us to offer our customers the entire process chain up to the finished product from one source. We are also particularly pleased to have the best vapour polishing system, the Powerfuse S, now in our ranks”, says Michael Junghan, CEO & Founder of alphacam.
APPLICATION-DRIVEN PRODUCTION LINES ENABLED BYDYEMANSION: EYEWEAR & FOOTWEAR IN SERIES
On the way to the industrialisation of AM, DyeMansion plays a crucial role in two exciting production lines. The first one is the Additive Scale, a project of YOU MAWO, and AM Global. They offer eyewear frame manufacturing as a service. The proprietary technology allows them to produce 3D-printed eyewear with mind blowing quality from one to million units. To achieve this, Additive Scale relies on DyeMansion technology, because they benefit from a scalable and reproducible process and a wide range of colours. That convinced longtime customer YOU MAWO to further expand the partnership between the two companies. “The application of eyewear is often underestimated in terms of quality and surface. After many years of working together, we really trust in DyeMansion technology to ensure quality and scaling in our manufacturing process“, says Sebastian Zenetti, Managing Director & Head of Sales at YOU MAWO.
Another exciting application-driven production line is the iAMfootwear project – a complete non-branded footwear application engineered and produced by a powerful consortium of technology providers Arkema, DyeMansion, EOS, framas, Siemens and Twikit. This end-to-end solution for a sustainable footwear application shows how cost and performance competitive AM is today. The DyeMansion Print- to-Product Workflow transforms the midsoles printed with ARKEMA’s PEBAX material on EOS SLS technology into colourful, sealed end-use parts with the right look and properties – made possible by the vapour polishing system Powerfuse S as VaporFuse Surfacing is essential for flexible materials. iAMfootwear will deliver the solution to footwear brands and individually tune the application for design, performance, and cost. The final shoe can be experienced at the ongoing Formnext.
