Eplus3D, a Beijing-based Additive Manufacturing solutions provider, has announced a collaboration with HAGI and ISG Dental, two Austrian industry experts to expand its AM network in Austria. Both partners are experts in their fields and will assist in the discovery of appropriate process solutions for local customers.
Eplus3D believes that application-based consulting is required to assist with the integration of 3D printing technology in today’s manufacturing environments.
Partnerships to Expand AM Network in Austria
ISG Dental is the Austrian market leader in the supply of Digital Dentist Technology for Dentists and Laboratories, including X-Ray, Implantation, and 3D Scanning. ISG Dental has over 30 years of experience in the dental industry and is always at the forefront of technological advancement. As a result, the Vienna-based firm decided to collaborate with Eplus3D to develop a full demonstration workflow that included a complete postprocessing solution. ISG Dental wants to push the boundaries of metal additive manufacturing and help its customers do the same with its own digital dental laboratory, DDLab. ISG Dental will be critical to expansion of Eplus3D’s AM network in Austria.
Partition frameworks, crowns, bridges, bars, and abutments are all made from CoCr and Titanium Alloys using their new EP-M150 Dual-Laser printer. A state-of-the-art Hybrid-manufacturing solution is used in conjunction with a 5-axis milling system to demonstrate all of the possibilities associated with Metal 3D Printing. With knowledge and experience milling a variety of metallic and non-metallic materials, as well as 3D printing with various technologies such as DLP and SLA, the group can realistically suggest workflows to its customers that will pay off financially and give them a competitive advantage.
HAGI has decades of foundry, casting, and dry bulks experience, primarily in the automotive and power industries. Customers of Eplus3D will benefit from HAGI’s engineering team’s extensive know-how in a variety of applications accumulated over the last several decades. They are expanding their portfolio of 3D Printing Technologies with Eplus3D in order to provide personalised consultations for each customer.
The broad customer base of Eplus3D, which ranges from dental laboratories that use digital dental technologies and want to produce high-end mass-customized parts to advanced research institutions and SMEs looking to fill a market gap with a profitable business case, as well as the deep industry expertise of the two new partners in both the dental and industrial sectors, will help democratise additive manufacturing and expand its AM network in Austria even further.
Together with its partner HAGI, Eplus3D will be present at the Austrian 3D Printing Forum at 7th April 2022 with its own booth. During the forum, ideas like Hybrid Manufacturing, the Digital Twin, the bottleneck of post-processing and other topics related to Additive Manufacturing will be presented by industrial leaders from Austria and Germany.
