FACTEQ 2024, the latest offering from Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA), the organizer of IMTEX, promises to help the factories of tomorrow build, maintain, and upgrade their plants. The expo is co-located with the Pune Machine Tool Expo from 25th to 28th May 2024 at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Pune.
Quality in manufacturing happens when goods are produced the right way. Aptly, many firms are striving to get it right and have industries bank more on homegrown machine tools and factory equipment through technological improvements.
FACTEQ 2024
Exhibitors will present air and water systems, material storage and transportation, security and safety systems, electrical and lighting systems, sustainable and environmental solutions, factory furnishings, building and construction equipment, and numerous other factory-specific solutions.
It is expected that updating technology will make plants and factories more efficient, and that reconfiguration will necessitate the procurement of factory equipment, potentially aiding in the reduction of imports.
The implementation of advanced technology in all future production facilities will assure energy efficiency and usher in a greener world. It will enable Indian firms to design, produce, and commission more efficient factories using technology and industrial methods developed in India.
Firms throughout the world are fighting for excellence by rethinking the concepts that have governed manufacturing evolution over time. The race is on to make manufacturing more sustainable, digitally skilled, and resilient.India has recently emerged as a manufacturing hotspot, with significant multinational corporations establishing bases there. While some have already begun operations, others are negotiating with state governments to establish plants.
Engineered goods output is expected to rise further as a result of the Government of India’s multiple production-linked incentive (PLI) policies and aggressive infrastructure development. Several key industrial segments are calling international investment, and new facilities are anticipated to be built to meet these demands.
Energy storage solutions, green hydrogen, biotechnology, semiconductor chip production, and many more industries are ready for investment-driven expansion, with factories set to open in the near future.
With a major share of Union Government incentives aimed at new-age manufacturing and positioning India as the world’s new factory, great things are expected, and India may eventually surpass the $1 trillion export target.
Pune is home to many startups, manufacturing companies, and research facilities. FACTEQ 2024, along with the Pune Machine Tool Expo, will benefit factory growth in and around Pune, as well as in India’s western and northern areas.
The show will assist exhibitors in connecting with new consumers from diverse manufacturing industries, engaging with buyer delegations from selected industry segments, and learning about the current state of manufacturing.
