C-marx, a German additive manufacturing and print engineering company, is being helped grow by Megnajet’s line of dependable and innovative fluid management technologies.

C-marx, which focuses on producing largely bespoke inkjet technology solutions, has integrated a number of Megnajet fluid management systems and components into its individualised machines.

Megnajet’s Fluid Management Systems

The two companies’ strong, creative cooperation began in 2020, when C-marx was founded by Peter Ueberfuhr and Sven Holewa in Chemnitz, Germany. By assisting businesses in integrating inkjet printing technologies into production processes, notably in additive manufacturing, the company has grown to a workforce of nine and will generate €1.3 million in revenue by 2023.

C-marx builds unique machines for its clients using its own CAD, software design, and machine manufacturing expertise in fields ranging from packaging and graphics printing to R&D, electronics, and industrial applications. The requirement to accurately and reliably manage fluid jetting is central to all of its projects, and Megnajet’s systems have matched C-marx’s criteria for simple solutions that operate well from the start.

Each of Megnajet’s product families allows C-marx to run the various printhead technologies that the company built its solutions around. In additive manufacturing, demand for inkjet is rapidly increasing due to new printhead and fluid improvements. Fluids with a high viscosity or that must be used in large quantities require precise flow conditioning and control.

Megnajet’s systems use a range of printheads and fluids, which are all managed by C-marx’s proprietary software as part of each inkjet machine solution. The dependability and stability of Megnajet’s products provide a number of advantages to C-marx, with both companies working together to ensure that the proper components are employed.

“Megnajet’s fluid management systems offer us a huge advantage through their reliability, ease of use and robustness. They are compatible with a wide range of printheads and are all controlled by our software to deliver the quality and consistency our customers need for the accurate jetting of what can often be complex and challenging fluids.”

– Peter Ueberfuhr, Co-Founder at C-marx

The two firms take pride in their collaboration, and Megnajet’s diverse portfolio considerably complements C-marx’s adaptable approach to bespoke machine design.

According to Mike Seal, General Manager at Megnajet, “C-marx’s expertise in inkjet and its ability to provide client solutions across a wide range of additive manufacturing and novel inkjet printing projects is second to none. The teams’ flexibility and ability to innovate at speed make them the perfect partner for our fluid management systems, and we are delighted to aid them in their continued growth.”
