Nexa3D, the leader in ultrafast 3D printing, announced its intention to acquire Essentium, a renowned manufacturer of high-speed extrusion (HSE) 3D printers and materials, in November last year. And it has now revealed that all formalities for the acquisition of Essentium have been completed. With the addition of high-speed extrusion technology to its portfolio, it is now able to enter a new technological space and cater to a new market segment.

Nexa3D collaborated with Headmade Materials last year to add metal 3D printing to its portfolio via ColdMetalFusion technology.
