Wematter, the Swedish 3D printer manufacturer, enters into a partnership with Italian distributor Bologna 3D to establish a sales and service network for the Gravity SLS 3D Printers in Italy. The partnership is a step toward Wematter’s internationalization, offering the European market access to the Gravity 2022.
“It feels very good to have a competent and experienced partner in Bologna 3D in Italy. We are growing in lockstep with Bologna 3D as our official partner for expansion of our SLS 3D printers in Europe. We now have a strong presence in the Italian market and have established a maintenance and support hub that guarantees a high level of service to our end customers.”
– Robert Kniola, founder and CEO of Wematter
Bologna 3D operates under the OT Informatica company and has undergone Wematter’s theoretical and practical training and technical certification during the summer. This is to be able to service and maintain all machines locally. The company has previously sold FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) industrial 3D printers. It is now expanding its range to offer customers more and new possibilities.
More competitive with expanded offering
“We were looking for another additive technology to complement our current offering in order to be able to provide our customers with more innovative and competitive tools”, said Giulio Orsini, CEO of OT Informatica / Bologna 3D.
He continued, “At the end of the first virtual meeting with Wematter, it was already clear that we had found exactly what we were looking for: a compact ecosystem that intuitively integrates into any company, which guarantees professional, repeatable results, enclosed in a splendid design. We are proud and excited to finally be able to present the Wematter revolution to the Italian market.”
Bologna 3D collaborates with partners that have experience with industrial automation, resistant and reliable machines, fast and easy printing processes, intuitive source code, and robustness, high capacity printers.
In June this year, Wematter launched The Density 2021 Gen II, its new Water-Jet Cabinet for faster post-processing of 3D prints. This system is a part of Wematter’s ecosystem for additive manufacturing, which reduces the time it takes to go from a 3D printed part to a finished end product.
