PostProcess Technologies, the pioneer in automated post-processing solutions for additive manufacturing, has reached a key milestone by signing its 500th global customer, Lucid Motors in California.

This achievement demonstrates the company’s unwavering commitment to delivering solutions that address significant post-processing pain points, providing unparalleled service to ensure high customer satisfaction, and revolutionising the additive manufacturing industry through innovative technology developments.

Since its founding, PostProcess Technologies has been at the forefront of changing the post-processing environment by providing cutting-edge technologies that streamline and optimise the whole additive manufacturing workflow. Customers in North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe have praised and trusted the company for focusing on safety, efficiency, consistency, and scalability – performance criteria that manual post-printing cannot match.

To date, PostProcess’s largest customer is a technology behemoth that uses a sophisticated portfolio of 19 PostProcess solutions across 5 additive labs.

Lucid Motors bought PostProcess’ largest resin removal solution, the DEMI 4100, to use with their large scale NEO 800 SLA printers. Lucid can use the DEMI 4100 to optimise their resin removal workflow while greatly reducing the use of additional hazardous solvents such as IPA.

“It is rewarding to reach this important milestone and we are grateful for our customers’ continued input, support and trust. This achievement is a testament to the dedication of our team and the transformative impact of our technology in the additive manufacturing industry.”

– Jeff Mize, CEO of PostProcess Technologies

PostProcess Technologies’ software-driven solutions use advanced algorithms and machine learning to provide unrivalled outcomes in post-processing for support removal, resin removal, and surface finishing. By automating previously labor-intensive and time-consuming operations, the company enables manufacturers to shorten production cycles, improve product quality, save operational costs, and provide a safer working environment.

The great majority of PostProcess clients are now using PostProcess technologies to prototype apps. As additive manufacturing becomes more widely used in production, the growth of automated post-processing solutions will accelerate.

Furthermore, the company anticipates rapid growth as a result of its foray into the APAC market and the introduction of its fifth technology family for gross depowdering. These efforts, along with other growth tactics, equip the company to continue rapidly expanding its highly satisfied, blue-chip customer base.
