3D Printing Event Update: CII’s First Conference on 3D printing to be held in Hyderabad

On 29 June 2018, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be organising its first major conference on 3D printing – the 3D PRINT-TECH.  Supported by the Government of Telangana, 3D PRINT-TECH is a one-day conference on Trends in Additive Manufacturing that will be held at Taj Deccan, Hyderabad.

Organised by CII, the 3D PRINT-TECH will see a participation of some of the big-wigs from the Indian 3D printing industry and foreign experts in the field.

Through the Conference, CII aims to create an effective discussion platform for the exchange of opinions between leading researchers and major players in the field of 3D printing. CII also aims to raise awareness and enhance the reach of the technology as well as discuss and address some of the key issues of additive manufacturing industry highlight the opportunities and challenges associated with the industrial adoption of additive manufacturing in the country.

Key Sessions of 3D PRINT-TECH 2018 include:

  • Building the Factories of Future: How Additive Manufacturing (AM) is implemented in various industries in India
  • Materials Matter: Materials & Software in Design & Production of Products
  • From Prototypes to Production: Latest Advancements In the AM Industry & Future Outlook
  • Panel Discussion on Additive Manufacturing landscape in India and initiatives to make it more main stream

3D PRINT-TECH is considered to be one of the largest conferences on 3D printing in India. One of the key components of the event is the participation of some of the luminaries from the world of 3D printing in India. Senior level executives from EOS GmbH India, Think 3D, Stratasys, Wipro3D, Imaginarium India Pvt. Ltd., Defence Materials Research Laboratory (DMRL), TCS, T-Works will share their experiences in the field of additive manufacturing.
