Creality, the world’s largest consumer 3D printing company by shipments, has announced the launch of its new K2 Pro 3D printer, expanding its flagship K series with advanced AI-powered features and enhanced material capabilities. The K2 Pro, priced at $849 for the standard version and $1,049 for the combo package, will be available starting August 25th through Creality’s official store, Amazon, and authorised partners.
The launch comes at a strategic time for Creality, which recently filed for an IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange to fuel its global expansion. The new K2 Pro represents the company’s continued commitment to innovation as it faces increasing competition in the rapidly evolving consumer 3D printing market.
Creality K2 Pro 3D Printer with AI Features

The K2 Pro introduces several significant advancements over previous models, most notably a dual AI camera system for enhanced print monitoring and quality control. One camera monitors the chamber to detect common failures such as filament “spaghetti” or a missing build plate, while a second camera mounted directly on the nozzle monitors extrusion flow and checks for blockages in the waste chute.
“Smart Auto Levelling” has been incorporated into the design, which intelligently probes only the areas of the bed where a model will be printed, saving time during the setup process. The K2 Pro also features an actively heated chamber capable of reaching 60°C, essential for processing advanced materials such as PA-CF and PPA-CF that require consistent chamber temperatures.
The printer’s build volume measures 300 × 300 × 300mm, slightly smaller than the K2 Plus (350 × 350 × 350mm) but still offering a generous space for larger projects. With a die-cast aluminium alloy frame and steel linear rail on the X-axis, the K2 Pro is designed for stability and durability, while step-servo motors enable printing speeds of up to 600 mm/s with 20,000 mm/s² acceleration.
Multi-Material Printing with Creality Filament System

One of the most significant features of the K2 Pro is its compatibility with the Creality Filament System (CFS), which enables multi-material and multi-colour printing capabilities. Users can connect up to four CFS units to the printer, allowing for a total of 16 spools to be loaded simultaneously.
The CFS includes intelligent features such as RFID recognition of filament type and colour when using compatible spools. If a spool runs out during printing, the system automatically continues with another slot carrying the same filament. Materials are stored in a dry chamber with built-in desiccants, while the display shows humidity, temperature, and the number of connected units.
This multi-material capability allows users to switch between colours or combine different filaments with dissolvable and breakaway supports, significantly expanding the creative possibilities for advanced users and professionals.
Strategic Launch Amid Company Growth

The launch of the K2 Pro comes as Creality continues its impressive market expansion. According to CIC Consulting data cited in the company’s IPO prospectus, Creality commanded a 27.9% global market share based on cumulative consumer-grade 3D printer shipments from 2020 to 2024, with total shipments reaching 4.4 million units.
The company’s revenue has shown remarkable growth, increasing from 1.346 billion yuan in 2022 to 2.288 billion yuan in 2024, representing a compound annual growth rate of 30.4%. This growth has continued into 2025, with first-quarter revenue reaching 708 million yuan, a 28.67% increase compared to the same period last year.
As Creality faces increasing competition from newer entrants like Bambu Lab, founded by former DJI executives, the company is leveraging its IPO to invest in research and development, expand its global user operations, strengthen its brand presence, and develop sales channels. The K2 Pro represents a key part of this strategy, targeting the high-performance segment of the consumer 3D printing market.
Availability and Pricing

The Creality K2 Pro will be available for purchase starting August 25th, with a standard version priced at $849 and a combo package at $1,049. Creality is also launching a standard K2 model alongside the Pro version, offering a smaller build volume of 260 × 260 × 260mm and fewer advanced features at a more accessible price point of $549 for the standard version and $699 for the combo package.
Both models will be available through Creality’s official store, Amazon, and authorised partners worldwide, supported by the company’s extensive sales network that spans approximately 140 countries and regions via 74 self-operated online stores and 2,163 dealers.
