Carbon, a leader in product development and additive manufacturing technologies, announced the release of AO Stack, the latest addition to its Automatic Operation suite of solutions. AO Stack, a software programme created specifically for the Carbon M2 and M3 printers, allows dental labs to produce multiple builds’ worth of DPR10 models in a single print session without supervision.

AO Stack enables Carbon users to print up to three times more models in a single unattended print cycle, making it ideal for the final print of the day. This demonstrates Carbon’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of dental lab technology and continuing the innovation within the Automatic Operation suite of products, which debuted earlier this year.

Carbon’s AO Stack

Increased Unattended Throughput: Can produce up to three times more models in a single print run than standard single-layer printing when unattended.

Ease of Integration: AO Stack is meant to integrate seamlessly into daily operations, with Carbon Academy’s complete resources supporting it.

“The introduction of AO Stack is a milestone in our ongoing quest to innovate and provide transformative solutions to our customers. By allowing up to three builds worth of models on a single unattended print, AO Stack offers the opportunity for an increase in overnight production capabilities without additional hardware or oversight.”

– Brice Harkey, Senior Product Manager of Oral Health at Carbon

Since May 17, 2024, AO Stack is now available to Carbon M2 and M3 customers that have DPR10 as part of their subscription.
