Fast Radius has launched an online portal to provide instant quotes for advanced manufacturing parts and projects. Visitors can go to quote.fastradius.com and upload a part or design for additive manufacturing, CNC machining, injection molding or urethane casting and immediately get a pricing quote.
This portal is meant for current and new customers who need bridge tooling while they ramp up to high-volume production, who’ve encountered supply-chain disruptions, who have uncertain demand for a new product, or variable and unpredictable demand for existing products. In addition, it makes it more cost-efficient for customers to enter markets with low-volume products.

Speaking about how the new portal will help its customers, Fast Radius CEO Lou Rassey said, “Instant, online quoting is about meeting our customers’ desire for faster production. Our customers are interested in shorter life cycles, mass customization, SKU volumes, and shorter windows of opportunity to launch new products.”
The online quote portal is the first of several technology launches that Fast Radius will release in 2020, fulfilling the promise of its recognition as a “Manufacturing Lighthouse” by the World Economic Forum.
The WEF named Fast Radius “one of the nine best factories in the world” based in part on the breadth and depth of industry 4.0 applications being employed to create tangible value for its customers, including meeting increasing consumer demand for fast-turnaround and customized products through Fast Radius’ growing network of distributed, industrial-grade 3D printing facilities, as well as its proprietary operating system that drives real-time analytics and orchestrates design, production and global fulfillment.
