This will include executives and change makers across the aerospace, medical, consumer, automotive, industrial, and non-government and non-profit sectors who will share their knowledge.
Speakers join these conversations from organizations including Peloton, Rivian, Lockheed Martin, Stanley Black & Decker, Decathlon, Ford, NASA JPL, Hitachi, Pratt & Whitney, HP, Stratasys, NAVAL Surface Warfare, Materialise, Desktop Metal, Carbon, Henkel – and more!
“We are proud to welcome SME, TRUMPF, MatterHackers, GE Additive, and Stratasys as the five Platinum sponsors to our second annual Women in 3D Printing conference, TIPE 3D Printing,” says Kristin Mulherin, President of Women in 3D Printing. “We thank our Platinum sponsors for supporting our mission of promoting and encouraging women in additive manufacturing.”

This year, the three keynote speakers at the TIPE 3D Printing Conference are:
- Anouk Wipprecht, FashionTech Designer
- Julia Koerner, Founder, JK Design Assistant Adjunct Professor and Director Summer Programs, UCLA Architecture and Urban Design
- Reshma Saujani, CEO of Marshall Plan for Moms and Founder of Girls Who Code
“I’m excited to join Women in 3D Printing’s TIPE conference to highlight real challenges women encounter within their careers”, says Reshma Saujani, CEO of Marshall Plan for Moms and Founder of Girls Who Code “It takes an entire community like Women in 3D Printing and Marshall Plan for Mom’s to make change and close the gender gap within companies.”
TIPE 3D Printing is an opportunity for individuals and organizations to share thought leadership, and to openly discuss current initiatives and applications of additive manufacturing technologies under four expert-driven tracks: Technology x Industry x People x Economics.
“MatterHackers is proud to be a repeat Platinum sponsor to help give a platform to more of these underrepresented professionals,” Mara Hitner, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at MatterHackers, shares. “The impact of TIPE 2021 was unprecedented. My favorite and most frequently heard bit of feedback was that attendees loved seeing fresh faces and hearing from voices they had never heard from before. After months of seeing the same case studies, research, and points of view in virtual conferences, it was a blessing to the industry to have a conference proactively searching for different perspectives to spark new conversations.”
Eliana Fu, Industry Manager: Aerospace & Medical at TRUMPF North America, shares,”TRUMPF was proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of the inaugural TIPE Conference in 2021 and to do so again for the 2022 edition. We continue to be committed to the Women in 3D Printing organization as it encourages people in the unique STEM field of Additive Manufacturing to become innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders.”
“Stratasys is honored to sponsor the Economics track at the 2022 TIPE Conference. As a leader in polymer additive manufacturing, Stratasys is the company it is today because of the achievements, contributions, and innovations of women across the business who have helped to develop, scale, and launch additive manufacturing solutions across industries such as production, healthcare, fashion, and more,” says Maricarmen Senosiain-Villalon: Manager, Product Management at Stratasys Direct Manufacturing.
Christine Furtoss, Vice President of Advanced Manufacturing at GE Additive, shares that TIPE 3D Printing is “Yet another great initiative by the team at Women in 3D Printing. We’re happy to support as a Platinum sponsor and look forward to contributing alongside this stellar line up of speakers.”
“For three decades, SME has helped support, promote, and enable the growth of the additive manufacturing industry. As a non-profit, mission driven organization, we support the Women in 3D Printing TIPE conference. As additive manufacturing technology continues to conceive, test, improve and manufacture products faster, more cost-efficiently and with new innovative methods, events such as this are great an opportunity to connect, share knowledge, and open doors for ALL professionals interested in AM – driving diversity and equity throughout manufacturing,” says Angela Szerlong, Industry Manager – Additive Manufacturing, SME.
The support of our five Platinum sponsors stands as strong testament to the mission of TIPE 3D Printing, and the actionable resources the event will provide to the additive manufacturing industry.
