The Creality Ender 6 FDM 3D printer is the latest offering in the popular Ender-series of desktop FDM 3D printers by the Chinese DIY FDM 3D printer manufacturing company – Creality 3D. The Core XY machine is built upon its predecessor the Ender 5 Pro. Interestingly, Creality hasn’t disclosed much information about the printer but the initial images and the features sure are exciting.
The printer is opened up for pre-orders and users can inquire about the same through their official website.

Features: Creality Ender 6 FDM 3D Printer
We have listed below several of the most prominent features of the Creality Ender 6 FDM 3D Printer.
Faster Printing Experience
Creality boasts of the high printing speeds it can achieve with the Ender 6. The speed can be attributed to the Core-XY assembly that supports faster printing speeds. It claims that the printer can reach speeds of up to 150mm/s that is 3 times faster than average 3D printers. However, the tease of the printer doesn’t say much about print quality.
Larger Print Area
Ender 6 comes with a larger print area measuring 250 x 250 x 400 mm which is slightly bigger than its predecessor, the Ender 5 Pro.
Super Silent Operation
Creality guarantees a super silent operation possible due to the incorporation of the German-made TMC2208 chip embedded in the motion control system thus enabling the printing process to work noise-free.
Resume Printing Function
In case of power outages, the machine can seamlessly resume printing once the power returns. This function can also work efficiently in case of filament breakage.
Filament Runout Sensor
Ender 6 is installed with a smart sensor to prevent accidents like filament runout of filament breakage. As the sensor detects any runout issues, the print is paused and only to be resumed once the material is fed.
Superior Hotbed
Creality Ender 6 uses a Carborundum glass platform that heats up quickly and the prints adhere better to the surface. This platform with superior heat resistance and thermal conductivity offers ultra-smoothness to the first layer.
Enclosed Print Area
The 3D printer has transparent acrylic open doors for easy visibility and also safeguarding the prints from dust and other particles interfering with the print, nozzle, and material.
All-Metal Body
Creality Ender 6 revamps the Ender series with an all-metal chamber body look. The metal body imparts strength to the 3D printer and offers a stable printing experience.
Improved User Interface
The 3D printer is fitted with an upgraded 4.3-inch touchscreen with a new user interface. The new UI displays important information like the print process, parameter settings, function overviews, etc. The touchscreen has a colour display.
Final Verdict: Creality Ender 6 FDM 3D Printer
Creality 3D has not shared enough information on the Ender 6 printer. A lot of information is still not available and more details are awaited. Important details such as the extruder material, its temperature range, the heated bed temperature range, the compatible materials, and even the sample parts are missing.
The website suggests that the printer is available in two different configurations namely the standard configuration without the enclosure and a high configuration with an enclosure (at least this is what the image suggests and there may or may not be other feature differences as well).
While the existing features and functions do look exciting and a significant improvement has been made on the Ender 5 Pro, but it is believed that the users will wait printer operating reviews are shared.
The 3D printer is opened up for Pre-Orders. Interested users can inquire for pricing and we have inquired about the same but are yet to hear a reply from Creality 3D. We will update the printing in the article once we receive the same.
