La Fondation Dassault Systèmes, Pune, will support the research work in this laboratory, adding to the project’s prestige and innovation.

Key figures attending the MoU signing ceremony included Mr. Santosh Sutar, Managing Director of Cretebots Digital Constructions Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Ajay Gaikwad, Head of the Civil Department at PCCoE, Dr. N.R. Deore, Dean of R&D at PCCoE, and Dr. Vinay Rangari. Dr. G.N. Kulkarni, Director of PCCoE, was recognized for his role in making this commercially viable opportunity for 3D concrete printing.

This collaboration is expected to bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering creativity and technological advancements in civil engineering. The Centre of Excellence will advance research while also providing commercial opportunities in the field of 3D concrete printing.

Construction 3D printing is gaining popularity in India, with almost every sector attempting to implement the technology to build houses, schools, barracks for defence personnel, border bunkers, and even 3D printed villas.
