BCN3D Technologies, the Spanish open-source 3D printer manufacturer, announced its partnership with PrintMe 3D, a Bulgarian distributor, with a Distribution Agreement to boost growth in the Bulgarian, Ukrainian and Balkan countries to increase its share in the global 3D printing market.

According to PrintMe 3D the characteristics of the Bulgarian people interested in 3D printing vary a lot. However, so far, the people that are most interested in purchasing a 3D printer are either manufacturing companies that have the budget to invest in a 3D printer for prototyping purposes in their manufacturing facilities, or schools and hobbyists.

PrintMe 3D is now entitled to distribute across the Bulgarian, Ukrainian and Balkans 3D printing market the well-known BCN3D printers SIGMA and SIGMAX, as well as the full range of filaments, accessories and spare parts from the Barcelona-based 3D printing company.

The global expansion momentum has also reached the Eastern European market, where BCN3D’s existing presence will be strengthened by one of the fastest-growing distributors on the Bulgarian, Ukrainian and Balkans landscape of desktop 3D printers. Thanks to this new strategic partnership, BCN3D aims to increase its presence in the global 3D printing market that will in turn industries and professionals will benefit from the best of BCN3D and PrintMe 3D.

Speaking on the partnership, said Evdokiya Nenova and Mariya Nenova, PrintMe 3D founders said, “Bulgaria is a market not much different from all the other markets in the world. We believe that the most important factors for improving the sales of BCN3D in our country would therefore be – building awareness and trust. Our aim is to offer only the best 3D printing brands and we believe that even though we represent only three manufacturers so far, every new brand has been chosen carefully and has something new and something better to offer to our customers.”

They added, “BCN3D has a lot of things to offer such as low price for professional, double extrusion printers, increased productivity, high quality and big build volume. Therefore, we appreciate our partnership, we appreciate that the brand chose us to represent their products on the Bulgarian market and we promise to help BCN3D build trust and awareness of the brand in this market by implementing our knowledge of the culture and behaviour of the Bulgarian people.”

The BCN3D 3D printer portfolio ensures maximum efficiency with the Sigma and Sigmax desktop machines, a professional workbench 3D printer designed to meet the highest demands in the most demanding professional environments where the highest volume of 3D printing is required.

According to Xavier Martínez Faneca, CEO of BCN3D, “We are pleased to cooperate with PrintMe 3D, an alliance which will support us to increase the sales in the Bulgarian, Ukranian and Balkan markets, where there is a high potential for the IDEX system and the distinctive duplication, mirror and multimaterial printing modes. Their considerable experience in additive manufacturing, combined with a top-quality technical know-how makes PrintMe 3D the right fit to help us grow and serve Eastern customers in the best possible way.”

BCN3D IDEX’s technology

BCN3D’s Sigma R19 and Sigmax R19 uses an Independent Dual Extrusion (IDEX) system for printing multiple materials in the same job, or, and here’s why it rules, simultaneously. Indeed for boosting productivity, the Sigma boasts a few print modes that put both print heads to work at the same time, increasing output without skipping a beat.
3D printing is gaining in popularity and is increasingly used in various industries. The popularity of 3D printers also drives the development of the entire 3D printing industry and increases the range of applications. They are becoming more and more commonplace. As their popularity grows, the number of applications increases. They are mainly used for prototypes and models. As of today, 3D printing is already present in almost every industry ranging from the advertising, automotive, plastics, or aerospace industries. The use of 3D printers enables rapid prototyping of complex electronic components and parts for a variety of devices in larger companies.
