Evolve Additive Solutions, a global leader in the manufacturing of capital equipment and ABS thermoplastic production parts announced the launch of their new “Production Assessment Program”.
Clients can use this programme to collaborate with a team of engineering experts to analyse and validate the business case for their additive applications on Evolve’s SVP (Scaled Volume Production) platform, which is powered by STEP (Selective Thermoplastic Electrophotographic Process) technology. After that, clients will receive their high-fidelity parts as well as a summary report containing production validation data.
Production Assessment Program on SVP Platform

The STEP-powered Evolve SVP platform is already known in the industry for its ability to drive an additive manufacturing production process. It goes beyond 3D printing by automating part serialisation and post-processing. With the SVP platform, you can quickly and easily accomplish the following:
- Bring your production grade parts to market quicker and gain a competitive edge.
- Product parts on demand wherever you have an SVP system.
- Transition directly from prototype to production.
Because STEP technology relies on digital rather than physical moulds, the exact same part can be produced to the exact same specifications on any SVP system. Produce the same part at the same time anywhere in the world without shipping or creating multiple sets of moulds.
The headquarters in Minnetonka, MN and the Material Technology Center in Rochester, NY have recently expanded to accommodate this new programme. A 11,500-square-foot “Production Acceleration Center” has been added to the Minnetonka facility, which includes an SVP system experience centre, a metrology test lab, a post-processing lab, training facilities, and a production parts showroom. The Rochester, NY location increased its square footage by 6,000 square feet and continues to test and develop new materials.
“This is an exciting time in the growth of Evolve. This expansion will allow us to continue on our path to be the industry leader for higher volume of production thermoplastic applications within the additive manufacturing space. In addition, it provides us the opportunity to show the entire process from discover to delivery.”
