Intech Additive Solutions Welcomes Additive Manufacturing Veteran Pradeep Nair as VP Hardware Sales

Intech Additive Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (formerly known as Intech DMLS Pvt. Ltd.), the pioneering metal additive manufacturing company in India, has announced the appointment of 3D Printing veteran Pradeep Nair as Vice President-Hardware Sales (APAC & ME Asia). Pradeep Nair will be primarily responsible for the business development and sales of the company’s recently launched iFusion series of Metal 3D Printers along with its marketing and support functions. He will also play an advisory role in the development of Intech’s 3D printing technology roadmap.

Pradeep Nair is a veteran in the field of Additive Manufacturing (AM) having introduced the technology into the Indian and ASEAN markets back in 1996. Pradeep joined as Regional Director at Stratasys to set up its operations in India and the ASEAN markets. After 19 long and fruitful years with them, he then moved to SLM Solutions GmbH as Director-India to start their operations in India, selling and servicing Metal 3D Printers.

Welcoming the appointment, Sridhar Balaram, MD & CEO of Intech Additive Solutions said, “Pradeep Nair is a visionary and among the early prime movers to introduce additive manufacturing to India. His tireless work to build and promote a strong AM community network is evident and much appreciated. His appointment will give a big boost to our plans to revolutionize Additive Manufacturing in India especially with our ‘Made in India’ iFusion series of Metal 3D Printers.”

The iFusion series of innovative, cutting edge technology Metal 3D Printers was launched earlier this year in January.  The iFusion series of Metal 3D Printers has two variants – the iFusion SF1 and the iFusion LFMulti. The 3D printers were designed and built at Intech Additive Solutions’ facility in Bangalore. The launch also marked a significant milestone in the innovation journey of Intech and Metal Additive Manufacturing in India.
