AMFG, the leading automation software provider for low-volume, high-mix manufacturers, has announced a partnership with M Aerospace, a Texas-based additive manufacturing center, to implement its MES software solution and Instant Quote tool to streamline their operations.
M Aerospace is an additive manufacturing centre that aims to provide efficient solutions in the United States and Latin America. M Aerospace, founded in 2018, focusses on developing 3D printing technologies for the aerospace, defence, and automotive industries. The company provides an impressive range of manufacturing services, including 8 printing processes and more than 70 materials.
The Problem: Managing a Multilayered Company
Juan Carlos Munguia, co-founder and CEO of M Aerospace, describes the company’s five different technologies as follows: SLA, FDM, powder-based technologies in polymers and plastics such as MJS, SLS, and DMLS, and proprietary ED technologies. We were looking for a solution that could handle all of these different technologies on the same platform.”
“Moreover, we have operations in Mexico and the US so a solution that allows us to manage our production in both regions was a key consideration when choosing a software solution.”

The Solution: AMFG’s MES Software
AMFG’s MES software and Instant Quote tool provided M Aerospace with the connectivity and customisation it needed. Juan Munguia explains, “Your solution was extremely customisable when compared to other 3D printing instant quote software. These options are more “plug and play”. We wanted something personalised, and AMFG understood what we were looking for.
Munguia continued, “Moreover, we work in highly regulated industries such as aerospace and automotive, so we needed a platform that could handle all of these orders. AMFG’s solution enables us to manage the entire production life cycle, from quotation to shipment.”
The Result: Time Savings
Since using AMFG, M Aerospace has reported time savings on administrative tasks, including a 20-30% reduction in CAD file review time. Staff can now focus more on production tasks like sending files to print and post-processing.
Implementation Specialist Tudor Sucala adds, “We’re delighted that AMFG can support M Aerospace to achieve more efficient and streamlined production. We’re looking forward to seeing the company go from strength to strength with AMFG.”
