The prize was presented to Mantle during the 2023 RAPID + TCT conference, North America’s largest additive manufacturing event, by SME, formerly known as the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
The AM Start-Up Technology Award honours companies that have innovative technology and use cutting-edge technical solutions to address pressing manufacturing issues. Mantle was chosen as the award’s winner for its revolutionary TrueShape 3D printing technology, which drastically lowers the price and lead times for producing precise tooling while enabling superior tool designs and addressing the shortage of skilled manpower.
