The EOS Additive Minds Academy has developed a comprehensive online training program in collaboration with renowned industry leaders to optimize onboarding processes and accelerate your knowledge buildup at the forefront of additive manufacturing innovation.

The EOS Additive Minds Academy and Phillips Machine Tools training program is geared toward various professional roles in the additive manufacturing industry. The courses are designed with onboarding programs, reskilling, and upskilling of professionals in mind. Furthermore, the training program was created by industry experts to provide current knowledge with key concepts. Augmented reality is also used in the program for remote assistance, expertise, and training.

According to Patrick Schrade, Head of Additive Minds Academy at EOS, “Additive manufacturing is a disruptive technology, and it takes creative people all over the world to better harness the potential of technology. But there is a shortage of additive manufacturing professionals and skills in the market, and it is difficult for companies to find employees trained in AM,” said

“Education is the key driver of innovation, and the additive manufacturing technology can play a crucial role in motivating result-driven rapid innovation in industries. Phillips has always been passionate about providing high-quality education to its stakeholder, and the collaboration between Phillips Machine Tools and EOS Additive Mind Academy will be a significant milestone to fulfil this passion.”

– Sumeet Bengeri, Business Head, Phillips Additive

3D printing in education is about to be big and Schrade concluded that they work hard to ensure that anyone who wants to advance their careers and companies who want to understand the benefits of additive manufacturing and accelerate their adoption of industrial 3D printing have access to additive manufacturing knowledge and new ways of learning. “Our goal in introducing additive manufacturing education in India is to provide equal opportunity and access to additive knowledge.” To that end, we are developing the most comprehensive AM education program for novices to professionals.
