Safran, an international high-tech company with operations in aviation, defence, and space, chose SLM Solutions’ NXG XII 600. The manufacturing system will be used to produce large, qualified aluminium parts for current and future generation programmes.
It will be integrated into the Safran Additive Manufacturing Campus in Le Haillan, near Bordeaux, where SLM® 500 machines are already in operation. Safran acquires one of the most productive systems on the market with the latest generation NXG XII 600, which has twelve 1kW laser power.
