Sauber Motorsport AG, the Swiss Formula One Team competing as Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team, announced this week, the expansion of the long-term professional collaboration with 3D Systems, one of the largest 3D printing companies in the world.
Sauber Motorsport AG added five ProX® 800 SLA 3D Printers to its engineering facility at its headquarters in Hinwil, Switzerland. Both the companies are working together with a common aim for the past ten years. The relationship will continue to grow and the collaboration will be more inclusive in order to meet its goal of setting highest standards of innovation in the manufacture of race car parts by using the 3D printing technology.
3D systems has been at the forefront of many innovations and through its partnership with Sauber, it aims to bring innovation to the way race cars are built. The two companies have been working closely together for more than ten years.

With this expansion, 3D Systems will also be the official promotional partner of the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team. The Sauber Team also announced the partnership expansion through a tweet on its official Twitter handle.
