Sintratec, the leading Swiss developer and manufacturer of precise 3D printers for professional use, has joined the ColdMetalFusion Alliance alongside other major industry players. With this step, the market leader in entry-level SLS solutions provides a broad audience with dependable and simple access to metal 3D printing. The company is working hard to launch the first steel applications on the S2 platform with the help of ten Beta customers.

Sintratec, which was founded in 2014, is now the leading Swiss developer and manufacturer of precise 3D printers for professional use. Sintratec systems are well-known for their modular SLS production system and are used all over the world.

ColdMetalFusion Alliance

ColdMetalFusion Alliance is a collaboration of industry leaders with decades of experience in sintering, 3D printing, and traditional industrial manufacturing. The Alliance members work together to provide customers in the metal manufacturing industry with services, equipment, materials, software, and know-how.

“The combination of our strength in SLS and the Alliance’s sound understanding of powder metallurgy and sintering experience creates exactly the intersection that is needed to be a scalable partner and supplier to the industry together.”

– Dominik Solenicki, CEO of Sintratec

Sintratec’s modular SLS production system can be expanded as needed and perfectly adapts to the needs of the customer. Material preparation, printing, and depowdering are all integrated in a closed and semi-automatic system that is unique in the field of selective laser sintering. Customers can quickly switch from one print material to another thanks to the modular system, reducing downtimes. Customers can even benefit from the redundancies caused by entire print farms rather than large chamber machines.

As “industrialists” with a long history, the members demand the robustness and continuous operation of a factory. The ColdMetalFusion Alliance anticipates future success by bringing together various players in this market’s supply chain, seamlessly connecting customers and prospects to trusted suppliers, the Alliance members.

ColdMetalFusion Members will demonstrate the Alliance’s industrialisation mission at the Formnext 2022 exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, in November. Sintratec will inform customers about SLS printing technology in hall 11.1, booth C39, while ColdMetalFusion will be demonstrated in hall 11.1, booth D48.
