New 3D printing bots to be introduced by new Swiss startup SAEKI. With a recent $2.3 million initial investment round, the Swiss company SAEKI is well on its way to fulfilling its lofty objective. It wants to streamline the costly and time-consuming process of manufacturing massive components for use in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. SAEKI plans to automate facilities that can produce massive things, such as airplane wings and building site installations, by combining 3D printing technology with 3D printing bots.

In 2021, visionaries Andrea Perissinotto, Oliver Harley, and Matthias Leschok established SAEKI as a leader in the field of making complex concepts a reality. The company’s primary goal is to simplify the inefficient and perhaps harmful process of making bespoke concrete formwork. SAEKI’s innovative method utilizes 3D printing, milling, and 3D printing bots to produce formwork as tall as several meters. This method has the potential to significantly improve productivity, ushering in a more resource-conscious future with access to hitherto unattainable levels of design complexity.

According to Andrea Perissinotto, Co-Founder of SAEKI, “for vast swaths of industry, it is not practical to own and manage robots that can create what you need quickly.” We’re leading the charge to improve industry’s access to the most cutting-edge technology and methods, which will in turn lead to more efficient, long-lasting results. We can offer shorter turnaround times at lower costs without sacrificing quality when working with larger components. Customers appreciate that we don’t simply offer a faster or cheaper alternative, but rather a holistic solution that covers their whole range of problems.

Wingman Ventures, Vento Ventures, Getty Capital, and angel investors are among SAEKI’s financing round participants. These investors obviously see promise in the company’s strategy of distributed additive manufacturing, which seeks to change industries as diverse as aerospace and construction via the use of game-changing technology, regional production, and eco-friendly materials.

The Principal at Wingman Ventures, Edouard Treccani, is very excited to be working with SAEKI as the lead investor in their pre-seed round. Their innovative approach to decentralized additive manufacturing with 3D printing bots has the potential to shake up industries as diverse as aerospace and construction by employing game-changing technologies, regional manufacturing, and eco-friendly building supplies. We’re excited to back them as they set out to make Switzerland home to yet another deep-tech powerhouse.
