Zortrax will exhibit at the renowned international 3D printing fairs, Formnext 2022 in Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Center/Messe Frankfurt, hall 11.1 stand C28, from November 15 to 18, 2022. Zortrax will be formally introducing its powerful trio of 3D Printing Solutions, which includes an industrial-grade UV LCD 3D printer, Zortrax Inkspire 2, as well as post-processing devices, Zortrax Cleaning Station, and Zortrax Curing Station.

Representatives from the Sales, Support, R&D, and Marketing teams will be on hand to inform attendees about the new machines, their best features, and the technological solutions used.

Zortrax 3D Printing Solutions at Formnext 2022

The Inkspire 2 combines high precision with high speed and is compatible with a wide range of high-quality engineering resins from leading global manufacturers such as Henkel/Loctite and BASF Forward AM. They guarantee that the prints manufactured and post-processed with new Zortrax machines meet all of the declared properties through a detailed double-validation process.

Zortrax Inkspire 2

The first component of our sublime resin 3D printing system is the Zortrax Inkspire 2, a high-end UV LCD 3D printer with a workspace of 192 x 120 x 280 (mm). It has been designed to work with high-quality resins while also ensuring an easy, automated, and user-friendly operation. Zortrax’s cutting-edge proprietary light engine, developed entirely in-house, provides the same levels of UV exposure across the entire platform, ensuring that users achieve the same print quality regardless of whether the models are placed in the center or on the platform’s edges.

After printing, the parts can be post-processed using the Zortrax Cleaning Station and Zortrax Curing Station, which are part of a professional post-processing ecosystem introduced alongside the Inkspire 2.

Zortrax Cleaning Station

The Zortrax Cleaning Station is a post-processing device that removes excess, unsolidified resin from the surfaces of photopolymer 3D printer models. Cleaning is required before UV curing to maintain the model’s dimensional accuracy.

Zortrax Curing Station

The Zortrax Curing Station is a post-processing device that adds UV curing to parts created using any resin 3D printing technology. Most resins require this additional curing to achieve their desired mechanical properties.

The technological advancements introduced in the Inkspire 2 translate into a significant advancement in Zortrax UV LCD solutions. The refined resin 3D printing system has a 7x more powerful UV light engine, 40% more uniform UV light distribution, and 4x more build volume than the previous generation Inkspire 3D printer.
